Our Four-Day Rapid Detox Process

Day 1: Arrival & Pre-Procedure Exam

Patients typically arrive on a Monday. You'll be picked up from the airport with a complimentary shuttle and will be taken to the AOD facility for your pre-op exams.

Upon arrival, we'll perform an EKG, bloodwork, urinalysis, stress test, and x-ray (if needed), then meet with our medical team and psychotherapist for a comprehensive overview and motivational therapy.

After your pre-op exam, you'll be shuttled to your private hotel in close proximity to our facility with 24/7 concierge care and access to our physicians.

1.

Day 2: Rapid Detox Procedure

A complimentary shuttle will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to our hospital for the procedure. Comfort measures can be taken upon arrival.

During the procedure, your IV sedation will be administered by our board-certified anesthesiologist. Our board-certified addiction medicine M.D. will then adminster the opioid blocking and reversal medication while you are sedated.

The procedure finishes with a naltrexone implant, which lasts four months, does not require daily pills, and lasts much longer than the Vivtrol injections that other clinics use.

2.

Day 3: Aftercare & Recovery

Once stable after detox, patients are discharged and transported to their hotel room for private and peaceful recovery. Before leaving our care, patients are examined, discharge instructions are given, and medications are provided for comfort.

While in your hotel room (within minutes from the hotel), you'll receive concierge care with 24/7 access to our physicians and care team and periodic check-ins. If any issues arise, a member or our care team will be dispatched to you within minutes.

3.

Day 4: Return Home

Once stable after detox and recovery, patients are discharged to the care of their loved ones, with our physician available for any needs before travel.

Our commitment extends beyond discharge, offering direct access to our doctors and psychotherapists for continued care and support, ensuring a seamless transition back to daily life.

Ketamine treatments are available on a per-patient basis.

4.

At All Opiates Detox, we administer the Naltrexone Implant while you are sedated. The implant contains naltrexone, an opioid antagonist, which binds to opioid receptors in the brain.

Other clinics often prescribe the Naltrexone pill instead of the implant, however, the pills need to be taken every day and missing one day could lead to easier relapses.

Vivitrol injections are also used by other clinics, but its effects only last for 28 days versus the four months with the Naltrexone implants.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below, we provide answers to some of the most common questions that you may have regarding the Rapid Opiate Detox Under Sedation process. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed below, please call us at (800) 458-8130

How much does rapid opioid detox cost?
The cost for rapid opioid detox starts at $11,900, payable in full on the day of the procedure. We accept certified cashier's checks, credit cards, and cash. Please note that personal checks are not accepted. Financing options are available for qualified patients.
What is sedation detox?
All Opiates Detox is a sedation detox treatment for opiates, also known as ultra-rapid detox, anesthesia rapid detox, and rapid Drug Detox. The rapid opiate detoxification procedure is performed by two experienced physicians, board-certified in anesthesia and board-certified in addiction medicine.

Withdrawals are the main reason why patients are not able to stop using opiates. All opiate detox treatment consists of sedating the patient and then precipitating the withdrawals, which will pass during sedation. Sedation might take several hours, depending on the nature of the drug. At the same time, the opiate receptor will be blocked by long-acting Naltrexone. Our patients choose the two-month Naltrexone implant for relapse prevention.
Is All Opiates Detox under sedation successful?
Rapid opiate detox is for motivated patients who are ready to be opiate-free without substituting one opiate for the other. This opiate detoxification treatment is for psychologically ready patients who fear the pain of opiate withdrawals. Many patients choose rapid drug detox after failing attempts to quit cold turkey or dropping out of conventional rehab treatments. With our treatment protocols, withdrawals pass during sedation. After the treatment, patients are opiate-free. The success of our method is bypassing the withdrawals during sedation and blocking the opiate receptor with an extended-acting opiate blocker, a Naltrexone implant and following the treatment, we recommend psychotherapy for continued success. Our patients have unlimited aftercare by the treating physicians, which is priceless. Following these measures will lead to a successful recovery.
Do I qualify for the All Opiates Detox treatment?
Whether you qualify for the procedure is based on your individuality. Our highly qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable intake coordinator screens patients over the phone before scheduling. A medical professional must do the screening, not just someone treating it as a business, by reading questions and just writing down responses without any other knowledge. Also, during this process, you will be instructed if any restrictions or additional testing are needed before scheduling.
What should I expect after rapid detox treatment?
Everyone is different after the detox. Some patients feel great and can’t believe they’re opiate-free, and some patients may experience some mild but tolerable and manageable symptoms, such as fatigue, occasional vomiting, or diarrhea. Dr. George is always available to support our patients and prescribes medications when needed. Every day gets better and better after our All Opiates Detox procedure.
How do I pay for the All Opiates Detox treatment?
Rapid drug detox for opiates is not covered by insurance, regardless of where you have it done. One can apply for financing through MLend Finance. The applicant can be the patient or anyone wanting to help the patient by co-signing or applying on behalf of the patient. If approved, it is interest-free for 12 months. There are no penalties for not paying the total amount within the 12 months. If there is a balance due at the end of the 12 months, the interest accrues on only that remaining balance going forward.
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, insurance companies do not cover services like ours, and state and federal funding is also unavailable. We would be delighted if this changes in the future and hope that someday, insurance companies and governments will recognize the importance of covering these services.
